LOCAL CYCLING AND WALKING INFRASTRUCTURE PLAN

Hull City Council is seeking public feedback on its Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP) 2025 – 2035

The plan identifies gaps in the city’s active travel network and proposes to invest in these over the next 10 years as funding becomes available.

The council is keen to understand people’s walking and cycling habits, attitudes toward the proposed LCWIP and feedback on whether residents, businesses and communities agree with the council’s overall approach as well as the areas of the network identified for investment.

KINGSWOOD AREA ACTION PLAN

The council has launched a six-week engagement exercise to seek feedback from the public and other stakeholders on the proposed designs for two roundabout improvement schemes at Ennerdale Leisure Centre Roundabout and Wawne Road / Bude Road Roundabout, as part of the Kingswood Area Action Plan.

Securing feedback on the designs for these schemes is an important milestone and will help the council finalise the necessary documents required for the projects to go out for tender.
